Gathering of Eagles 2012 Presentations

The Annual Gathering of Eagles Conference is over and the presentations are now posted on-line.

The “Eagles” Coalition, also known as The U.S. Metropolitan Municipalities EMS Medical Directors Consortium includes most of the EMS Medical Directors for the nation’s largest cities 9-1-1 systems. The conference highlights “the most cutting edge information on EMS research, management issues, lessons learned and newly-proposed advanced patient care techniques.”

    Hi, its great that there is a national forum for US EMS to discuss lessons learnt like this. We have a similar system in the UK where our ambulance trust clinical directors can have a chinwag.

    It’s interesting to note that the majority of clinical/medical directors are doctors. In the UK our College of Paramedics (the professional body) is trying to gain access so that there is Paramedic influence on Paramedic matters.

    I was wondering if this was on the agenda for US paramedics?
